THE Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) held a community programme for its Zone 24 to foster a harmonious neighbourhood.

Zone 24 encompasses PJS5, PJS6, as well as parts of PJS7, PJS8 and PJS10 in Petaling Jaya.

MBPJ Zone 24 councillor Farhan Shah Ridzuan said the event served as a platform to strengthen two-way relationships between community leaders, residents and the council.

Petaling Jaya mayor Mohamad Zahri Samingon attended the event held at the Jalan PJS 6/3B playground.

The programme was supported by several government agencies and private organisations, including the Social Welfare Department, Umra Hospital, Eupe Corporation Bhd, Sunway Group, RT Pastry and Farm Fresh.

The event included activities such as traditional folk games, netball, carnival games, futsal, a bouquet crafting contest and a lucky draw.
