King extends Police Day greetings to all serving, retired PDRM personnel


PETALING JAYA: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia has extended Police Day greetings to all Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) personnel.

"Regardless of time, members of the police stand on the front line, risking safety and lives to maintain public order, enforce laws and protect citizens from the threat of crime," said His Majesty on Facebook on Tuesday (March 25) to mark the 218th Police Day.

His Majesty extended his highest appreciation to police personnel for their sacrifice and dedication in ensuring the country's peace and welfare.

"Their task is not easy, but it is carried out with dedication, courage and determination," added Sultan Ibrahim, who is also the honorary commissioner of the PDRM.

His Majesty said that the people appreciate all the efforts and services of the police who serve tirelessly, day and night.

Sultan Ibrahim then added that he appreciates the contributions and services of the retired police personnel who have served and contributed to the people's welfare.

"I pray to Allah for the members of the police force to be given continuous strength and safety in every task carried out. Happy 218th Police Day to all PDRM members and veterans," added His Majesty.
