Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery lost 46 cents, or 0.74 percent, to settle at 61.57 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery decreased 47 cents, or 0.72 percent, to settle at 64.91 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
