WHILE annual Asean summits come and go, some summits sometimes stand out from the rest. Much depends on the host country’s competence, integrity, and response to external circumstances.
Thankfully, very few if any Asean summits have failed to live up to the best expectations of member states. Furthermore, regional standards tend to remain reasonably high.
